is designed to grow with the company's needs and requirements. This covers
both functional needs and size. Since MWare is designed on a multi-tier
environment, allowing a step-by-step extension, the system will guarantee
the investment protection you need.
MWare
is available with the following servers and optional components: MWare Application and Database Server This module is the heart of the system and can be installed on any Windows 2003 compatible server platform. It contains both the database server programs and the business logic. Since MWare is a .NET application, the application server uses the Microsoft Internet Information Server platform for the exposure of the web services to the client applications. The clustered server platform will also run the database server, which can be Oracle or Microsoft SQL Server. MWare Report Server This module is installed to distribute both operational and historical data via the standard MWare User Interface. This way every authorized network user, local or remote can consult the same data on a single platform. The module can be installed as a separate application server, running the different reporting services, including the Data Warehouse. MWare Planning and Scheduling MWare Planning and Scheduling is a complete solution for finite capacity scheduling. Its macro-based planning features allow you to automate common tasks, saving time to deal with the exceptions. The planner provides with extensive simulation and visualization tools in order to make decisions based on fact. MWare Operator Interface The MWare operator interface is a smart-client user interface for the shop floor. It is designed to facilitate operators in their day-to-day transactions, using touch-screen compliant grids and buttons. The standard operator interface requires a PC environment, running any current Windows platform. Screens are customizable through parameterization and can therefore be tuned to the customer needs. This may even include running the screens from a Pocket PC environment, with a reduced screen footprint. The operator screens are Machine-centric, giving the operators a clear focus to the activity required at their workstation. MWare Supervisor Interface The MWare supervisor screens offer more in-depth functionality for supervisors and management, including online production overviews, supervisor overruling, reporting screens, etc... From its user interface the supervisor can monitor in detail the actions performed on the shop floor. |
