MWare is completely built on the Microsoft .NET platform, and supports both SQL Server and Oracle databases. The MWare Application Server exposes all MWare transactions as customizable web services, allowing any kind of .NET or JAVA client application to use the MWare functionality.

The standard MWare user interfaces are also completely .NET compliant and run as a smart client on any recent Windows PC platform. With the No-Touch-Deployment capability, the distribution of the client screens and applications in the factory is completely server-managed.

The client applications can also be deployed on Thin Clients and Windows CE-based terminals using MS Terminal Services or Citrix application hosting environment.

This results in a lower cost of ownership and a highly modular, open and flexible solution.

Reporting

The aim of the reporting services is to provide the required business and progress reports from your production environment in real-time. The reports include both operational and historical information.

In order to facilitate multi-hierarchical analysis, MWare stores all relevant information in the MWare Data Warehouse. The standard MWare grid provides a clear view of this information, with user-specific reporting capabilities, including filtering, multi-level grouping, and customization of the grid columns.

Enterprise Collaboration

In order to synchronize the MWare system with the Enterprise level, the MWare system will generate XML messages that can be uploaded to e.g. the ERP system. These messages can be used e.g. to create stock movements between different ERP stock locations and WIP.

The download of messages is handled via XML which is in line with worldwide standards, such as ISA95. They can easily be customized to your specific needs and interface requirements.

Reliability

MWare is designed to support ‘24/7 days' manufacturing operations. This is obtained by using clustered database and application servers and high availability on the network level.
