In Q1 2011 PEC will start delivery of a new cell test system, the SBT05250L, giving 250A per channel capability.  The system is specially designed for standardized cycling of lithium cells in a wide range of applications, without the need for paralleling channels to reach the higher currents.

The system comes with 2 automatically switched current ranges and PEC’s single channel architecture. This way the system offers the same programming capabilities and accuracies as the other PEC secondary battery testers.

The SBT05250L is also using PEC’s water cooled racks, resulting in immediate evacuation of the dissipated heat from the lab.
