The Manual Cell Formation system is ideal for pilot production, repetitive testing, incoming goods (inspection) and quality control of cells. The system is manually loaded and unloaded with cylindrical, pouch or prismatic cells in a protective and conditioned compartment (Fire Box).

The formation tower consists of 3 formation stations. A firebox around each formation station will prevent possible incidents to propagate through the factory. This firebox is conditioned: users can program temperature set points on the formation profile. The formation cycle is started after the cells are manually loaded and connected and when the door of the fire box is closed.

Each channel is individually controlled by on-board microcontrollers, uses a Power-Mosfet for linear control of the current and has 2 automatic switched current ranges. The tower can be configured
and assembled to order with 10, 25 or 50 A.
